John, I put together the cum function I used n my example and it compiled OK. There is no reference number in the cum argument list. Yes, it does add together all the values of the contained function back to the beginning of the chart data. One could "cumulate" data only from some specified past date (or number of bars) by subtracting another cum function referenced back that number of bars. I haven't tried it, but I will.

I think the MS prev statement I used will do the same.
