Andrew, mmm, hey it's good to read that Jmar is not going unnoticed, I am a die hard Jmarian, My posts are plastered all over that thread, and I have read, asked, studied this company from top to bottom. The company it's management and BODs are truly top notch. As Ritz and others will point out there is a lot of competion for the next generation of Micro semi circuit industrial applications and to mention one sometimes refers to 10. Anyway Jmar is well focused in the field of visible and invisible light energy sources, their products run from, pocket battery operated laser knives, to laser measuring, repairing, testing and micro precision cutting devices for the semi/high tech industry. They are heavily into R&D in the field of lithography light sources including but not limited to Micromachining, Micro ICs, laser optics, XRL, XRL hybrids, motion control and sensor equipment. Disk head inspection workstations, ASIC designer Gate arrays (not fpga), well there's more but as you might imagine they are into this field up to their nostrils. Their CEO, founder John Martinez PHD, established the company in 1987, before that he was co-founder of HMX laser(I hope I got the name right)which ironically was responsible for Jmar and Cymer, both were born from that company. In additon Dr. Martinez established and headed the TRW laser program in the late 60's-early 70's. He is a retired Marine Captain who served in Korea, and really seems to have a good head. In addition to Martinez those who are interested should take a look at Jmar's BODs, they truly are impressive. Well so much for personal tidbits, we hope to hear from some on this thread at Jmars. We believe this one has fantastic potential, so come on over and try it out, what do you have to lose? |
