If the maximum advantage is not being pressed by the holders of these essential patents, it's probably a bluff. carranza2, I certainly can't tell you who of the 27 other essential patent holders for WCDMA is bluffing. But, I can tell you it is not IDCC. They have been actively working with the standards body and when they state that their contributions "have become part of the 3G standard adopted by the International Telecommunications Union (or ITU)" they're not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
