Yeah, well, read it and weep. AT&T to rip out CDMA and install TDMA in the San Diego and Houston phone co's is is buying.

I've never been one of the people that thought AT&T would switch over to CDMA....

Verizon had to sell these properties (for the merger to go through), there wasnt really any other CDMA operators who needed these cities (with the possible exception of Alltel, who probably didnt have the money). AT&T will stay with TDMA until they start LOSING subs.....
