Nobody found the first release of Delphi exceptionally stable and I have to conclude you simply tinkered with it, while ignoring public comment. You are making assertions here that even some of the die-hard longs rejected. When I declared JBuilder 2.0 to be unusable, at least two pro-Inprise apologists chimed in that they had the same experience with a recent release of Delphi but that they thought it was O.K. for a product not to be stable the first release after a major upgrade.

I'm sorry but you're not really using these products with the exception of C++Builder. It was either you or the other David that made the astonishing claim that you use that, and Microsoft Studio for particular tasks.

So, in addition to not getting Java, or at least taking a couple of years to understand its significance, you're now making up fairy tales about Borland product stability that aren't supported. You really need to start examining your point of view and ask yourself whether you're even capable of a reasoned, unbiased opinion. Try, at least entertain the notion that unless you're actually developing products out of the box with these things, versus tinkering around with something that's already there, you're don't have an appreciation for the problems or the benefits. You might as well tell me the Earth is flat with some of the comments you make.
