Getting closer Bill...As for SC, didn't have any problem referencing a formula with itself (surprise!!). Just use; Formula =Formula[1]+OBV[1] The second formula, AMA_trnd should look something like this: "AMA_trnd" = prev(fml("AMA_trnd"),-1) + fml("AMA_smth") * (Close - prev(fml("AMA_trnd"),-1)) Give it a shot and see how many error messages I can set off <G>... Also, this might be of help...if the current bar that is being looked at is <= the period (-10) then AMA_trnd = close. It didn't hurt leaving it out of the SC formula except for the very beginning of the indicator plot. Jøhn
