I've been looking at the gold stocks, saw a few posts on BMG here. FWIW, I happened to see that blocks of about 300K and 75K of BMG just traded a few minutes ago at the bid of 1 15/16. Normally one would think that that was a sell, but my record on guessing buys and sells by the price is no better than a coin flip. There's been some buying in a lot of golds in the beginning of the month, so I'm thinking about buying some BMG myself. (I wonder if Goldman Sachs figures the coast is clear from their downgrade (at 2 1/8!) a couple of weeks ago.)
