LG, correction: the Dems are not the Socialist party. They are the Communist party. Proof, ( in keeping with the threads demands to substantiate one's points, <g> ): The attempted Nationalization ( by Bill and Hillary, or should I say, Hillary and Bill ) of National Healthcare, <g> TA Message #54704 from LG at Jun 20, 2000 1:03 PM ET OT I am sitting here listening to AL Gore (on CNN) parrot his new retirement savings plan "in addition" to social security. He is going to have the "government" subsidize this savings plan up to 3 to 1 for lower income folks. Of course we know that when Gore says "government" he really means "you and me" will be subsidizing these savings plans. Why don't the Democrats just cut to the chase and admit they are the Socialist Party! As the US encourages other countries such as Russia to trend toward democracy and a free market economy, the US moves closer and closer to socialism, thanks to the Democrats. Regards, LG
