No one is equal in the material sense. In the political sense we are equal in regards to inalienable rights.

You and I could point to a brother and sister that seem to have similarly valued assets. Put the brother and sister together and you will hear nothing but squabling over inequities. We are not equal, we will never be equal, it is futile to seriously seek equity. There is only one practical use for an equity agenda. Use it to blackmail those who have material assets or positions that you covet. It is a fairly effective strategy although I personally detest it.
