I don't think you can equate an individual's equality with the amount of wealth they have managed to acquire on any given day. The equality written about (and in some cases alluded to) by the Founding fathers of the United States of America has as its definition inalienable rights. The equality the current U.S. government is employing is actually subverting some of those inalienable rights.
