DT has no computer software division and wants into it badly, inc. e-commerce, internet, etc. They would transform UIS to their needs. They also are eyeing a big US telco and might have the bucks to pull it off but that'll take time. Rumor from germany has it a deal with UIS is already in the works but take it with a grain of salt until it's announced. DT needs to buy more than one company.
