Larry, I'd suggest doing a "this thread only" search on this thread, with "microdrive" as your keyword. But here is one post to look at first: Message 13476093 Too much power consumption and too little reliability are two of the main problems, in addition to what Joe points in the previous message. It looks like IBM is trying to address the former problem with their new 1 gig drive, though whether they address the second only time will tell.
