Legal minds: what can the supreme court do? If the supreme court decides to take the case, and decides, for arguments sake, that MS is guilty of fewer, and less serious crimes than Jackson found, how much flexibility do they have in modifying his remedies? Do they have total freedom to change them? Does he have to OK the changes? What about at the state appeals court level? j
