Oh, I just made them up. That's what I generally do.

I'm joking, of course. The numbers are from Dain Bosworth, published on April 4, 1997.

"GTE will order 10,000 - 40,000 lines of ADSL this year, most likely CAP-based units manufactured by Westell, with this order to be followed by 200,000 DMT-based units, not made by Westell, to be delivered starting in 1998."

The number he quotes for BT's CAP is 20,000 for 1997 delivery and 2 million DMT, to be delivered between 1998 and 2002.
