You raise some very valid points. I guess the issue is what will it take for the market to recognize the progress ATHM has made and reflect this in the company's stock price?

I think BNBN is another internet company in the same under -appreaciated-by-Wall-St-boat, which can't seem to get the rising tide to lift its boat (too many metaphors in 1 sentence can be dangerous).
