Is the glass half full or half empty? <g> To address your point about S.I. Admin, I do not share in your confidence of them. In fact they delete posts and posters in a fashion eerily comparable to that of the "Thought Police." in George Orwell's "1984". I don't know if the increased vigilance of s.i admin in the past two years is directly related to the huge decline in member postings but I believe it just might be a contributing factor.

Why have an ignore button and s.i. admin? If one simply ignores the bores and twits who happen upon a good thread they will go away. I don't feel it is right to go running to Bob or Jeff everytime someone shows up who doesn't quite fit in.

Those few active posters who are left on S.I. might take comfort in a heavy police presence; many thousands have simply left. Perhaps S.I should ask these people why they no longer participate in the community?

regards

etc.
