NEW YORK, June 20, 2000 ? ProNetLink.com (OTC BB: PNLK), the Global Trade Internetwork(TM), today announced that it has been granted a Federal Multiple Award Supply Schedule Contract from the Government Services Administration (GSA). This five-year contract, awarded on June 16 under the Federal Supply Service Group 70/Information Technology, covers Special Item Number (SIN) 132-52, ?Electronic Commerce Services?. A company must be granted a GSA contract before it can do any business with the Federal Government.
As a Federal Supply Schedule Contractor, ProNetLink.com may now market its e-commerce technologies, specifically its ?Powered By ProNetLink.com(TM)? international trade modules, to any Federal Agency in the U.S. government. ProNetLink.com is now entitled to distribute catalogs and price lists to the Agencies, respond to agency Requests for Proposals, and is also listed in the GSA Advantage(TM) program, which allows the various agencies, such as the Department of Commerce, to electronically locate and order Contractor services.
The Government Services Administration (GSA) is the Federal Government?s business manager, buyer, real estate developer, telecommunications manager, and computer solutions provider. Each year, it contracts for billions of dollars worth of products and services.
?We are very proud of the fact that ProNetLink.com has successfully reached this level within the U.S. Government. The GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract process took over 3 months and required considerable attention to detail?, said Dave Walker, COO of ProNetLink.com. ?This was a major step in the ProNetLink.com B2G/B2B business plan and we look forward to the opportunity of providing ProNetLink.com Internet trade systems to the Federal Government?.
Specifically, ProNetLink.com?s Federal Supply Contract, issued as No. GS-35F-0468K, falls under FPDS Code D304: Value Added Network Services. Under this broad category, the company may bid on the creation and integration of e-commerce applications into Federal agency websites. Only companies who have a GSA contract may bid on Federal projects.
As part of this application process, ProNetLink.com had to pass a certified ?Past Performance Evaluation?. ProNetLink.com users and alliances were asked by Dun & Bradstreet to rate the company in seven areas: Timeliness, Problem Responsiveness, Quality, Total Cost, Technical Support, Quantity, and Attitude. On a scale of 1 (?Outstanding?) to 6 (?Unsatisfactory?), ProNetLink.com received an overall rating of 1.02 ? almost a perfect score.
