I don't even know what proprietary dram is. Is it fair to say that hwp means Hewlett Packard? If you are referring to the hardware system I have an Epson Color Printer, Hewlett Packard Scanner, the modem is intel pentium and the keyboard and monitor have Gateway labels---see no other identifications readily visible. Very easy to use. I can easily update and upgrade programs instantly. I.E. the virus program, i keep updating regularly. Does this come close to answering your question? I am not knowledgeable on the technical aspects of computers---know how to apply and use the software. mj
