to Sign Agreement With NQL Solutions, Joining More Than 25 NQL Licensees Since April

The NQL Solutions(TM) division of AlphaServ.com(TM) ALMI Wednesday announced a multi-year licensing agreement under which London-based Sitelynx will use NQL(TM) technologies in digital search and navigation marketing solutions developed for leading Internet marketing companies in the U.K. and Europe.

Sitelynx has signed a two-year agreement for NQL Spotlight(TM), a large-scale Web content aggregation application, as well as the NQL Server Edition, which enables Sitelynx to develop proprietary network applications and further customize Spotlight for resale to its customer base.

Sitelynx develops and markets solutions to draw traffic to client Web sites by optimizing search engines, enhancing Web directories, link building, accessing newsgroups and chat rooms, and related strategies.

"We are excited to partner with NQL to bring their cutting-edge Internet technologies to our clients and also incorporate NQL's Spotlight and Server into our infrastructure for the development of additional customized solutions," said Graham Hansell, founder of Sitelynx digital search & navigation marketing.

Sitelynx clients include Pepsi U.K., IBM Euro, Buy.com (U.K.) and many other firms in automotive, financial, information technology, music, online shopping, publishing and sports information business. For further information, visit www.sitelynx.com.

The agreement brings the number of NQL licensees to more than 25 since the April launch, according to Douglas J. Tullio, chairman, chief executive officer and president of AlphaServ.com.

"Beta users who have converted to licensees include large, mid-size and small companies representing online services, Web integrators such as B1 Services in the U.K., developers like Data Mining and large end users such as World Bank with plans ranging from Web content applications to mission-critical infrastructure development."

Tullio continued, "In addition to the new licensees, the company is rapidly expanding its marketing and sales programs to address specific market segments such as solution providers/VARs, education, government and Fortune-based accounts."

The company has recently tripled its internal sales, marketing and engineering staff to capitalize on the market opportunity and will be commencing the first of its online marketing campaigns shortly.

"In a recent survey to NQL evaluators, 57 percent of the respondents indicated plans to use NQL products as part of their overall internal or external solutions while 39 percent are still evaluating the product," said Denny Michael, NQL's vice president of marketing.

"Sitelynx is a great example of the types of solution providers that we hope to continue to attract. Sitelynx has done a thorough job of evaluating Spotlight and NQL, demonstrating a diligence consistent with its solid reputation and impressive client roster of industrial, online and Web media companies."

Michael continued, "We are further encouraged by the downloads and interest in international markets, especially Europe."

Spotlight is an intelligent agent-based application developed by NQL Solutions to accelerate implementation of NQL technologies in solutions requiring automated retrieval and organization of Web content into a highly structured database for easy access and utilization.

It is designed for such uses as intranet services development, online news retrieval, e-commerce shopping and personalized Web services such as localized travel reports.
