Some beliefs are inherently harsh judgments. When folks say "THE ONLY WAY....yadayadayada..." about anything, it's really hard to discuss it civilly. And why should I bother? I don't think I poke people with sticks- REALLY- what I do is do the same thing to everyone, arguing, and some people see a stick in that and some people don't. Is it uncivil to argue with people who come here to put forth beliefs I consider at best logically flawed and at worst truly stupid? I don't think so. Plus the biting behavior is entertainingly irrational and does not bother me. So I guess- why go there- because I like it. I've said that before you know. Nothing new.
