Integration of Novell Caching Services with Digital Island Footprint Content Delivery Service Improves Web Experience for Customers

(NASDAQ: NOVL - news), a leading provider of Net services software, today announced a partnership that will further accelerate delivery of Web content for customers of Digital Island's Footprint(TM) content delivery network. Under the agreement, Novell's Internet Caching System technology, designed to improve Web server performance, will be enhanced to intelligently prepare content for distribution on the Footprint network.
