UUplink; With the 'soft handoff' feature of G, (several sats monitoring each call, the one with the best reception controlling) - I'm not so sure that the equivalent minutes of use you suggest would necessarily be generated. There is no need to maintain a dedicated uplink line. Given the reduced delay times and 'captured audience' of the aircraft, I would think they could establish a new link with each request - greatly reducing the G system utilization - at the same time increasing the user's time on the parent system. (Maximize the time the customer spends on your system and minimize the time on you spend on your supplier's system.) Still a fan of any increased use and PR, but I dont see this as a mother load service. Incremental and important at this juncture just not a windfall. Jeff Vayda
