heinz it is important for the big guys not to break rank and
start dumping stocks here.
If they do then a trickle is going to turn into
a disastrous bearish decline that will likely take us
back down to 3000+/- at best ( soft landing )
or 2700+/- at worst ( hard landing ).

Of course we'll need some kind of daily good news to
keep the mo going.

So far Honeywell disappointed
Oracle has soft sales
Banks are defaulting
The PC channel is stuffed with too many pentiums
Web advertising ( it's lifeblood ) is sinking

The telcos are left standing. The question is
with rising rates and
slowing economy and
web profit ad margins getting squeezed and
new dot.com outlay disappearing faster than you can blink

will telco companies have the muscle to finance a huge
telco infrastucture layout?

I doubt it,

all IMHO

PS: Official: OPEC to increase by 708000 barrels.
That's nothing.
