If I recall correctly, Renntech also mis-counted the number of Q's patents. Said that there were 18 in number-LOL! I think that Renntech is confused concerning the terms of the IDCC settlement, under which Q is limited to use IDCC's technology which applies to less than 10mghz.

I've read the original "heart and soul" patents. While I'm no patent lawyer or engineer, I didn't see any limitation on bandwidth. On the contrary, my layman's impression was that patent 4,901,307 applied to "wide" bandwidths. What is wide? That's a question I can't answer but presumably refers to the state of the art when the patent was issued.

If I recall, many of the terms of thew settlement were to be kept confidential so that this tidbit of information may not be all there is to it.
