Hi Paul .. Yes I would agree your point on arbs shorting the stock, which was my comment regarding momentum players exagerating the movement. Short sales are still sales and influence the price downward to a certain extent...What are your thoughts on this weeks additional insider sales and the downgrade on PSFT last week? PEOPLESOFT PSFT 31,933,950 725,565 8 - V,O,S,A,D,D,D,D As a long term investor, do you ever box your position with a short to preserve your gains? The advantage is you don't have to liquidate your long position and take the capital gains hit. And it gives you additional capital when you close the short to go long again if you desire, after the correction. Just a suggestion .. good luck jim
