Jane -- I'm still overwhelmed by all this, not thinking as clearly as I should yet.

As we have PM'd, a memorial is appropriate, perhaps necessary. But I need a few days or weeks before I can productively think in that direction.

While she was still alive and we were in immediate help mode, I could handle that. When we learned of the death I was in deep grief mode, and could handle that. Now I'm in numb shock mode, and it's not so easy to handle, for a while at least.

I keep posting on other threads and wondering how Edwarda would respond if she were still here. I imagine it is much like a recent amputee going through life wondering how his missing limb would be responding if it were still there.

Thanks for taking the lead here. I'll be able to be more helpful in a bit.
