You catch that Euro and US Dollar index move today?
Just walked in the door a 1/2 hour ago and still trying to catch up on my charts..
However, it appears the EURO lost a penny, while the US$ gained one, and that is important.
As we've discussed, the economic fundamentals will likely win out, and the US economy is simply fundamentally stronger and more productive that its European counterpart.
Were the European economy more vibrant there would be a case that the Euro could truly compete against the dollar. However, if the Dollar falls and the US economy is destabilized, it will take every other economy that relies on our markets along with it.
That's the fundamental bottom line that I perceive is dictating Central Bank and market perceptions.
I would, of course, appreciate you opinion as well, in hopes that you might fill in any gaps in my logic.
