RD: Inacom started in business 6 months before I did. A fresh graduate from MS in economics. With the help of his father built up on a tough competetion. Whatever happens to the company father and son know how to come out ahead. Chapter 11 must be another personal oppurtunity. I would not put much thought on Inacom status on Dell's or Compaq's focus. Even at a $1B business, I consider them as small thinkers. I think CPQ paid too much for what they got. Reminds me of PERTEC's deals with MITS/ALTAIR dealers. This is a vulturing business tactics, and sure fire to failure.
