Not a bad idea. I'm thinking of redoing my kitchen and may go with stainless counters. Really practical. Worked in the mess hall.

III took out my porcelain sink and put in a stainless one. Not a cheap one but got it from a supply house. Going from the wash side to the rinse side I used to bump dishes and glasses and break the shit out of them. Stainless is softer and solved taht problem. Also put in one of those high neck faucets. I can fill a 5 gallon bucket in the sink.
