>>$5 or $10 a minute<<
So, there I was a few years ago, maybe four, sitting in an airplane thinking (I could plug in my laptop and get my e-mail). I tried it and, of course, it didn't work. It took me four tries to figure out it just WASN'T GONNA WORK. (OK, so I'm more dense than the average bear...errr bull...whatEVER). In any case, I'd use it again in a minute when they get it up and running. Those four tries cost me a bit over $7 each and I remember thinking that if the airlines and phone companies weren't in collusion there would have been a little tiny sign next to the plug-in that said something to the effect: NO LAPTOPS, DUMMY!
It doesn't take long to plug in, log on, download. Then respond offline, and go through the whole exercise again to upload the mail. Don't worry too much, Mikey, about the expense. Besides, for all the time those people spend away from their families to be CEO's, etc., they're entitled to a little "air" time, don't you think? I'm surprised at your attitude...I recall you as one of the big spenders in Vegas...<g> (I'm so happy about being able to smile here and not get YELLED AT!!)
