Agree completely on the interchange between Peter and the Lord here. Not about food.

What I was referring to was the letter from the leaders of the church at Jerusalem to the Gentile believers. Chapter 15. Question was: Is it necessary to be circumsized and observe the Mosaical law (including dietary rqmnts) to be saved. The answer was clear -- NO.

As I said to Steve, that's not to say that abstaining from some of those items precluded under the law won't do you good. Certainly these are good -- they just aren't binding on Christians. We have a new covenant.
