Oh, no.....I do not feel better. I learned long ago that calming down has the effect of just slowly eating away at your capital.
It's people who turn around and remember slights that win in this world.
That has nothing to do with you and I, of course. I'm still ripping about the local jackass. This was one of those things I never do, I have a son who handles the tech end but he is away. My problem with all of that is this.....I'm here trying to get stuff together to trade. I'm not here to waste time throwing hardware together. Someone else can do that........it's my money. But I expect it to be done correctly. You and I, we are not in the business of making certain all the damn pixels line up. So I pay someone else to check that stuff out.
That's the point of all this. We should not have to play with the hardware, we aren't getting paid. We get paid to trade, let someone else make certain the hardware werks.
I appreciate the lock on computer learning, but my tech (my son, Pat) is gone for two months.....he's my go-to guy. When he is not around I pay for people to fix stuff. When they don't fix it to my satisfaction I get a bit more annoyed than

I suppose, to sum it up seriously, I spend a lot of time time trying to get a read on the market. I make my living with this. Screwing around with the internals of a computer is something I pay someone else to do. If you think about it, you would do the same. Why would anyone waste time on a 50 dollar installation when they could make that in 5 minutes? Or lose that, for that matter.
What gets under my skin, is when someone promises to handle it and they do not come through. It wastes my time. That's more important than the fee for doing the work. I like to think of this business that you and I are in, as being all consuming. You may not agree with me, but I would rather try to determine the course of the SP Futures .... and spend all damn evening ... rather than fiddle around with a computer.
That's why I go berzerk, simply because I could do what they do....I just don't get paid $50 an hour for it. I wish to make real money.
