I hope PFE can do better now that it owns WLA. Last year, maybe 10 months or so ago, I sold what PFE I owned for $40 and added more WLA at about $78. Nearly 70% appreciation compared to 15% is a pretty dramatic difference for 2 "equals".

I realize PFE spent most of that time trading in the 30's so the recent gains are up more than 15%. Still doesn't change the fact that PFE was trading down and sideways while WLA was appreciating substantially. There were issues around poor communication by management to shareholders happening around the time I sold PFE. It was something very mundane about scheduling the ASM or something to that effect but still enough that left me feeling somewhat negative towards management.

Thus, I'm going to reserve judgement at this point whether I hold PFE a long time or not. I'll wait and see; with my finger on the trigger :)
