I guess that you are right. The analyst who made the mildly negative comment was from Thomas Weisel. Actually if you read the Yahoo board thoroughly, it was quoted that he was always mistakenly quoted and he still keeps a Strong Buy rating on Amkor. At least, this is better than a year ago when J.J. -- the SSB analyst downgraded and sold short of AMKR with borrowed shares (from James Kim -- about 7 million shares). Soon after, AMKR crashed from about 10-11 to about 7. Then the short position was covered and a lot of shares were loaded by these guys. In a few days, AMKR was upgraded to Strong Buy by the same guy, and AMKR started the long fly. Ugly? You are the judge.
