hohoho >Democratic presidential candidate drew applause and shouts of ``yeah!'' when he denounced oil companies for ``gouging'' consumers and took partial credit for putting a scare into them.< Groovy! You go Gore! <g> Let's tax and fine those evil oil companies and put em' out of business! Oh, wait- We really need someone to refine the oil. And we need someone to transport it. and... we need someone to provide the pumps and stations, and,... Geez, what's a fella to do? hohoho I was just explaining to the new guy just outta college that oil is still a bargain compared to past times. Min. wage was $2.25 back in high school,(circa 1980) and gas was $1.20 a gallon. That's less than 2 gal/hr of labor. You can buy even more of it now for an hour's min. wage. $5.50/ $1.60 = 3.4 gal/hr. This country has been spoiled for way too long. BTW- The new guy just bought a V-8, 4x4 Pick up 6 months ago. Nice timing<g>
