In 2001 profits of $3.41 are considered possible.

From MULTEX.COM:
(As of 6/18/00) ANALYSTS' CONSENSUS: Buy
The consensus appraisal of the 9 Wall Street analysts tracking Silicon Storage Technology's stock is a
"Buy." The weighted consensus score, or AQO, of the company is 1.20. This is higher than the 1.00 AQO level necessary to have a "Buy" ranking. With the AQO of the S&P 500 currently at 0.84, the analysts are anticipating a stronger performance by them than the general market as defined by the S&P 500.

Silicon Storage Technology's losses are expected to vanish in 2000 with a profit in the area of $1.69 per share currently forecasted. This is an improvement from the prior year deficit of $-0.17 per share. In 2001 profits are expected to again rise, with per share results in the area of $3.41 considered possible. Analysts expect the S&P 500 will show a rise in earnings in 2000 of about 10.64% and will increase 6.44% in 2001. Relative growth comparisons to the broad market are not meaningful in 2000. However, based on the forecast for 2001, earnings at Silicon Storage Technology are expected to have a rate of growth greater than that anticipated for the broad market.
Presently, Wall Street analysts are forecasting the second quarter earnings for Silicon Storage Technology will be $0.40 per share. This estimate represents no change from the prior month and indicates that analysts still expect improvement over the prior year's second quarter loss of $-0.15 per share. Confidence by Wall Street in the forecast of earnings for Silicon Storage Technology is very high. There is a much lower deviation in the consensus estimate for the company than for the market as a whole and any significant variation of actual results from expectations could have a very adverse effect on the price of company shares.
