John, Mike & Tom:

A good read if your interested in WIND. I don't have a position at the momment. The company has had a tendency to shoot itself in the foot every now and then which I view as normal for a small company (but it can hurt while your an owner). I think they have positioned themselves for the future (Tom your favorite company has a tie in with them) although I am nervous while they try to asimilate the recent acquisitions.

I'll be looking to start a position (I've traded it on and off for two years) this quarter and add after the next earnings cc (or if there is a technical breakout).

John I'd rather invest in a company like this versus a healtcare provider. Another negative on healthcare is political. If the Democrats win control of the Congress and White House and thier current proposals become law (not just the ability to sue HMO's) health costs will go up higher than people realize. I don't mean this as a political statement its just my opinion their proposals will drive up costs. I'll let our society decide whether this is what they want but it would be a negative for most health providers stock prices, not just nursing homes.

On CLRS how can you be against a company that IPO's at the peak <gg>. You have to like the balance sheet but it was much more attractive in the low $20's. Should be a good buyout candidate.
