As far as I can tell, they only have one little itsy-bitsy patent affecting SDRAM, but as an IP only company it is enough to screw the entire industry.

This should raise DDR prices by 3-5%.

Why are you so sure that patent will hold? Don't you think a good patent attorney could pull it apart?
