Always glad to be on somebody's list.

When the euphoria dies down we can all begin to realize that one very important thing that has happened here is that Rambus now has the time and the resources to hold the fort and continue to develop the many attributes of RDRAM while processor speeds catch up with its capabilities. If it should be most appropriate for SDRAM to hold the majority stake of desktop space for a year or two, and even for DDR to follow for a year or two (not meaning RDRAM won't have a share as well) when RDRAM is finally ready to take over as processors move into the 2.5 -3.gigahertz range, or whatever, Rambus will have survived and prospered during the waiting period. Frankly, I was not so sure that would be the case seven months ago.
