If recall correctly, I think it might have been Shell(?) that did some exploratory work in the area-but they didn't own it...Quijano owned Lampa...remember...he got it from the guy who blew up the mines to keep the commies from stealing the gold or so the story goes...the original owner was killed in a suspicous accident. As for the properties go...the IP there was somewhat inconclusive....structure appears to be complicated...nothing like a straightward breccia pipe....pantleg anomoly that Medinah had to work with. It is hard to say whether they will turn up anything at Lampa....

No, Dayton's money is not from "the fund". Medinah is the only mining company this go around that might receive money from them. The other companies the fund is dealing with are non-mining. Did you notice that Dayton barely mentioned the Andicollo in their press release-ie their bread and butter? If you read between the lines, Dayton is in serious trouble there. If they don't buy Medinah Gold's properties-they are out of business....Period.
