TigerPaw, tithing is fun. Frankly, when I see the usage of that money to help people in need I feel very fine. When catastrophic things happen we, as a church family, try to help. Just as an example, our one little church, filled a complete trailer with water purifiers and sent them to Honduras during their terrible time. There are many other wonderful things that happen. I am proud to return 10% to God's work. Much of that work is helping those in need. Also, I trust my church much more to utilize my tithes where they are meaningful than I do trusting the government to do so.
