Today, there was a rumor about NOK buying out QCOM because of QCOM's CDMA technology. At this moment, QCOM has a market cap of $51B! That would make it less likely but still possible.

As I understand it, LSI does have CDMA technology as well. With a disastrous sell-off today, the market cap is $20B. Also, QCOM does depend tremendously on CDMA to grow its revenue and earning; LSI does not. In fact, CDMA is extra for LSI in the future. QCOM has a sales of $3.9B; LSI has $2.2B. LSI looks cheap compared to QCOM. In fact, LSI is trading at a great discount compared to all other semiconductor companies with any specialties.

Now, let's put two and two together before the Wall Street does. Isn't LSI a better buy-out candidate for NOK than QCOM? I suspect they know that too, and these guys will try to drive the price down in the next few days. So, they can load up at a lower price.

Any one has other opinions?
