IMO, this partnership for NOK is a lame attempt to grab some market share in Korea. I recall ERICY making similar comments a few weeks ago that they would like to develop local partnerships in Korea to boost their market share. With Telson only selling 3 million handsets to date, they can hardly be considered very seriously.

Maybe their agreement with Telson is a back door to buy ASICS from the Q in Korea in the same manner that MOT devised to buy Q's chips through Pantech. In any case, NOK must absolutely sign a 1X deal with QCOM in the very near future if they expect to sell CDMA phones in the US.
