MONTELLO RESOURCES LTD. ("MEO-V") - Canadian All.Ca Online Inc. Receives Funding - To Implement Strategic Business Initiatives
Montello Resources Ltd. ("Montello") is pleased to announce that Canadian All.ca Online Inc. ("All.ca"), in which Montello has a significant interest, has received its initial block of funding. These funds are being used to commence the initiatives outlined in All.ca's business plan.
Mr. Ted Ohashi, C.F.A., CEO of All.ca, reports: "All.ca is committed to building Canada's largest group of online communities through a comprehensive family of interactive web sites to serve Canadian businesses and consumers, alike. This would include such sectors as business, financial, banking, insurance, real estate, law and tax planning. In addition, we'll cater to the burgeoning cyber markets for health, travel, automobiles and leisure. Simply stated, All.ca's mandate is to establish itself as Canada's premier Internet portal."
A portion of All.ca's initial funding has been used to acquire more than 150 generic Canadian-oriented domain names. "We have seen a number of high profile companies - Chapters Books, for instance - start to market and brand themselves with dot-ca, rather than dot-corn, web sites," Mr. Ohashi adds.
"These sites are providing Canadian-specific content, as well as respecting that special sense of identity that Canadians want."
Among All.ca's extensive inventory of domain names are RRSP.ca, investment.ca, income.ca, retail.ca, computer.ca, franchise.ca, injurylawyers.ca and autoinsurance.ca.
"The acquisition of these assets is a strategic milestone," Ohashi says. "All.ca is now positioned to become an e-commerce leader in the dot-ca community."
