ed & paul-re: Q* & rmbs
Thank you again. Will PM both of your replies to that genleman.
Q* vs RMBS: compare again the trading patterns of qcom and rmbs...both with news or rumored news....rmbs opens/gaps high and tends to trade below the open...qcom stays close to and above open...indicating perhaps demand/buying rather then short covering....

Thanks, teach, for pointing out the differences. Always learn new things each day from you ;-).
Quite surprised that RMBS hasn't yet closed its earlier gap ~60. Too news driven perhaps? Good shorting candidate?
>>>An experienced trader takes into account a lot of Gap related information. When greater volume occurred after upside (downside) gap, it indicates the strong new support (resistance). If greater volume occurred before the gap, then support (resistance) is less strong and probably the gap will be closed. Professional day traders usually sell (short) gaps up and buy gaps down because their experience shows that opening gaps are almost always closed<<<. wplace.com
Am waiting to short Q* 01 puts. Perhaps 1/2 shortly and the remaining 1/2 after Q* breaks cleanly above 20 dSMA, ~74. Not sure about this ascent till A/D volume >=2, and ADX >=30.
Have a pleasant weekend.
