What pharma-bio pair is next? Strange that
pharma has the money to spend now, when biotech
was being starved out a year ago. I should think
we will see more deals like this--in just a few
years MLNM seems to have created a real powerhouse
and there seem to be plenty of second and third
tier biotechs that are rather cheap, and could have
so much more potential in the right hands--or if
managements watch mlnm and somehow become inspired.

When this amateur biotech enthusiast looks over the
field, I see these mutt mlnm's, or poor man mlnm's,
I've bought more Axys down here at $5. But when
I see deals like this go off in the better first
tier names, I really grit my teeth. I want to say
to Axys managment--are you going to piss this moment
away?

I have that thought will a lot of my third tier biotechs,
and while I cannot complain, having caught the biotech
wave--I'd go back in time and trade them all for MLNM
a year ago if I could. Maybe I still will, on dips of course.
