All I can say is that as long as Texas has their crazy death penalty I will refuse to travel there because with my temperament and predilection to challenge and mock "authority" figures I would undoubtedly be arrested and convicted of murder.

In fact, it would probably be possible to get arrested as a suspect in a murder case if you planted false clues and were close to the description of the suspect. Since many are arrested and brought to trial on circumstantial evidence, that would be even easier to manufacture.

When arrested as a suspect I would plead the 5th Amendment. When prosecuted in court I would call no defense witnesses, dress slovenly, have a week's beard growth, leer and shoot evil, staring glares at the jury members, and sneer and erupt in laughter when they described the murder victim.

Now, even though I was innocent (and would later prove it after I was convicted of being an evil monster, by producing receipts, airline tickets, and witnesses beyond approach that I was no where around the murder scene) wouldn't you agree that the jury would find me guilty and by Texas law the judge would sentence me to death?

It would almost be fun to try that just to show how poor the system really is and they sure would all look like fools.
