while Russell has been bearish forever it seems, i think his arguments are quite sound...it has become fashionable to deride the transports, the a/d line and various other technical non-confirmations as 'useless' - precisely the time when they become useful again. no-one's fretting about them now, but if the market declines big, they'll all come out and say "it was to be expected, all the technical indicators pointed to it"....
