This would appear to be a confirm. No kidding though I did hear this a couple of weeks ago not today (although I still won't act on it).

John I know its late to the party and especially if the prices have peaked. While I think they can move higher I've been know to be wrong on occasion (a higher frequency of late with some of my stock picks) so thanks for the input.

My reasoning for the gas is I think we may be entering a period similar to 72 & 73 with the potential to be a 72 to 78 period. In that period the oil and oil services companies were a sector that did well (this comment is from memory only, but I remember AET's investment in Geosource do very well until AET acquired the 2/3's it didn't own in 82 (just past the oil peak) when the market crashed. Houston was in a severe recession back in 84 - 86 time frame. Geosourse was an oil field service company subsequently rolled into Gearhart and I believe this was acquired by Smith International.

I actually was not expecting the 72 scenario to play out until next year (and OPEC is not hostile like they were back then) although it can be sooner (I hope your charts don't break now or else it will be sooner). I expect a bad time down the road due to a hard landing more than anything else.
