"There's only IBM that is a threat for mid-range + servers & the market is big and growing." IBM's the only threat? Windows 2000 Data Center will be released soon. It already beats Sun and IBM performance on 32-bit machines for lots less money. Just wait until Intel's 64-bit Itanium is released, and then 64-bit Windows Data Center.
